Meet the Team – Nicola Griffiths

Account Executive at MYHSM

This week we’re continuing our Meet the Team series to introduce our followers and customers to Account Executive, Nicola Griffiths. Here you can learn more about who she is, what she was up to before joining MYHSM, and what her main responsibilities are within the company.

Can you tell me about your career history, what milestones have led you to this point?

My career started in marketing in 1999 within the financial sector. I moved into the legal sector in 2005, and then the Business Supplies industry from 2014 to January 2020 when I started my role with MYHSM.

My role at MYSHM feels like the perfect culmination of what I’ve done before and what I can bring to the company, as I’ve always had a passion for working with people and finding solutions to problems. So, I’m really excited and proud to be a part of the MYHSM journey as the global go-to provider of payment HSM as a service.

What does your job entail and what are your main responsibilities at MYHSM? 

I’m an Account Executive at MYHSM, I am responsible for generating opportunities, planning and co-ordinating customer accounts, and liaising with MYHSM customers to understand their needs, ensure a seamless service and an ongoing future relationship. It’s important for me to establish and develop strong relationships with our customers to provide the highest level of customer experience and assist them as they transition from our Test to Live Service.

How would you describe your job to someone who doesn’t work in the payments industry?

Complex and technical but very rewarding!

What makes you feel the proudest about working at MYHSM?

I suppose because MYHSM is the first independent, global provider of payment HSM’s as a service, I feel very honoured and proud to be part of an amazing organisation of hardworking individuals who have the drive and determination to make MYHSM such a great success!

What issues/initiatives in the payment industry excite you the most?

The payments industry is very complex and can feel quite dense but MYHSM has found an innovative way to cut through that and remove the existing complexity of payment HSM’s. The MYHSM solution achieves this and more without compromising on security and service standards, and this is very exciting news for the world of payments!

What job would you be doing if you weren’t working in payments?

A professional rally driver!
